Yukon has some of Canada's most stunning landscapes.  Too many photos to post, but we thought this would give you an idea of what we saw while travelling through Yukon.  We met a number of residents who used to live in Ontario.  We were curious what brought them to Yukon.  A number of them went there to visit friends...and never left.  Can you blame them?

My special thanks to Cindy for capturing these photos - most of which while on the back of the bike on some nasty roads.
Cin..you are amazing!

The muddy Taylor Hwy, behind a caravan of RV's - Alaska

Taylor Hwy.  65 km of slop & muck - Alaska

Chicken Alaska - first stop after the Alaska border.  No more mud...well, just a little more to go.

The Yukon River, looking north from Dawson City - it's 1 a.m. in the morning!

The main drag in Skagway - Alaska

Klondike Hwy.  Note the colour of the lake.  This is the actual colour - no photo touch-ups.

We just arrived in Dawson City.  The streets are dirt and there are no sidewalks - just boardwalks.

One of the oldest running stores in Yukon is in Carcross - cool town!

Grizzly bear taking advantage of the spawning salmon.
This is wild, not in captivity.  Hyder, Alaska

On the Alcan to Whitehorse, Yukon.
This photo was taken by Ligia and Sergio - a Brazillian couple
we met in Dawson Creek B.C. and travelled with until Dawson City, YT.
They've been on the road for 6 months at this point after leaving Brazil in Feb 2006.
