Lorne Sokoloff is a Toronto-based bass
player with over 20
years of experience, both live and studio. He's played and recorded with a number of cover bands and original artists including David Henman (a founding member of April Wine), Connie Scriver Band, Fleetwood Mix (tribute), Rusty Denim, Arch Rockefeller, Melanie Joy, Northern Electric, The Groove Babies, Rough Jewel, EPIK, Pardes Rock, and Crackpuppy. Lorne is known as a mature, versatile and reliable artist who can adapt to many playing/music styles. He creates complimentary bass lines while maintaining a high level of professionalism, discipline and respect for the artists he works for. Born and raised in Toronto, Lorne began playing the violin at age twelve. In his mid-teens he took up the electric bass - mostly because that was the only spot left to fill in a high-school band. |
